Founded by UC Berkeley PhDs and experienced engineers from leading infrastructure companies, the company has quickly become one of the fastest-growing projects in AI infrastructure.As a Software Engineer (Backend), you'll design and build core backend systems powering multi-cloud AI infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include developing distributed services, job schedulers, and compute orchestration platforms, building scalable backend services that manage AI workloads across various environments, and designing and implementing APIs, microservices, and infrastructure components using Python and Go.Ideal candidates have 3–8 years of backend software engineering experience, with a strong background in designing distributed systems or cloud infrastructure platforms. They should have strong Python and/or Go engineering skills, experience with cloud infrastructure technologies, and a strong understanding of parallel programming, scheduling, and resource management.Compensation and benefits include a base salary of $165,000 – $265,000, a competitive equity package, a hybrid work environment, and visa sponsorship available on a case-by-case basis.
