Application Engineer (POS)Location: Houston Texas (Hybrid-3 Days/week Onsite)Job Type: Long Term ContractSkills:Overview/High level description of the positionThis position joins a Marketing scrum team.As a member of the team, you will lead development of new stories.This position will assist the Vendor Managers to develop features for the products.Responsibilities:Gather work requirements for retail development projects.Build and test features.Collaboration with other developers, architects and business SMEs in Agile scrum teams.Clear documentation and definition of how new/revised code operates to enable others to work with and support the code.Educational / Certification:BS Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., Engineering or mathematics), or equivalent practical experience.Experience:Strong data coding skills4+ years of SQLExperience with Salesforce and an understanding of its object structure (nice to have)Experience working in an Agile Development teamMust have experience with application in cloud (nice to have experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud)Strong communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical design.
