Job TitleYou'll design, create, and maintain internal processes, integrations, and applications. You'll develop back-end components to improve existing applications and implement security best practices while creating standards to improve existing architecture to ensure consistency across internal applications and data integrity. You'll also develop applications supporting physical product design, manufacturing, logistics, and inventory systems while driving the design and architecture of internal applications.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong knowledge of Python and web frameworks such as Flask and DjangoAPI development experience in Python (GraphQL, REST)Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB)Understanding of ORM (object-relational mapping) libraries such as SQLAlchemyExcellent Python coding skills and understanding of Python best practicesCloud (AWS) development and deployment experienceGeneral frontend development knowledge (React, TypeScript)Good communication skills, and ability to collect requirements from customersGreat customer service skills as it relates to application support and trainingExperience with Docker or similar container-based systemsPrior work experience at client or in client's industryPreferred Skills & QualificationsExperience with developing internal business applicationsExperience supporting physical product design, manufacturing, logistics, or inventory systemsIn-depth knowledge of Linux systemsExposure to bill of material management and data integrityExperience with authentication, authorization methods, and access controlDay-to-Day ResponsibilitiesDesign, create, and maintain processes, integrations, applications, and scripts, mostly on the backend with PythonDeploy cloud resources mostly with TerraformSome frontend (JS, React, TypeScript)Design system requirements for new and existing applicationsCreate and implement company-wide tools and methodologiesOversee, and often perform, major application installations and upgradesDevelop applications supporting physical product design, manufacturing, logistics, and inventory systemsReview peer codeContribute to many internal git repositories
