We are seeking a dedicated Tier 1 SOC Analyst to join an active Security Operations Center. In this role, you will serve as a frontline defender, providing real-time security monitoring, alert triage, and incident response to protect critical systems and network infrastructure. This position requires active participation in a 24/7 operational shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide proactive, on-site monitoring and initial response for critical communication sites and IT systems.
• Triage, classify, and prioritize security alerts and anomalies to ensure swift escalation and resolution.
• Collect and analyze technical data to distinguish valid security threats from false positives.
• Accurately log, document, and escalate incidents received via chat, ticketing systems, voice, and email.
• Collaborate with team members to update and refine operational playbooks, dashboards, detection strategies, and reporting metrics.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders during active network and security events, assisting with remediation efforts as directed.
• Maintain strict adherence to standard operating procedures and documentation standards.

Required Qualifications & Experience
• 1 3 years of hands-on experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or operational security environment.
• Proven ability to analyze security event data and perform basic incident triage.
• Willingness and ability to work flexible rotating shifts, including overnights, weekends, and holidays within a 24/7 operational model.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on accurate incident logging and reporting.
• Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in high-stakes situations.
• Must be able to attend an in-person interview and successfully complete an enhanced background check.

Working Conditions:
• Location: Harrisburg, PA (100% Onsite)
