Job DescriptionPosition Summary: Provide leadership, direction, and management to all employees of the site and oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations.Essential Responsibilities:Provide leadership in the development and implementation of a Strategic Plan that includes operational goals, objectives and evaluationAssure delivery of services in a cost-effective/efficient mannerDevelop and implement programs as plannedAssist in preparing, implementing, and maintaining a budgetKnowledge of existing contracts and their requirementsAct as a liaison to all funding sources as necessary to assure provision of client servicesRepresent The Harbor Light in community functions and/or committees, as necessarySubmit all reports accurately and in a timely mannerServe as a member of the Quality Improvement Committee, Executive Administration, and other committees deemed necessary by the Executive DirectorParticipate in educational courses, seminars, workshops, current literature, and in-service meetings to enhance treatment programmingProvide for client safety, security, and servicesMonitor compliance of Harbor Light policies and procedures across all staff levels Oversee all maintenance and housekeeping activitiesRespond to all site emergencies, following the approved Policies and Procedures of The Harbor LightMaintain accurate documentation regarding supervised staffVerify and approve hours worked for employees and submit information to the payroll person in a timely mannerUnderstand and work within The Salvation Army and Harbor Light Mission Statements.Possess an excellent working knowledge of The Harbor Light Policies and ProceduresAdditional duties and responsibilities as assignedHIPAA - Level 1 access to Clinical RecordsQualifications:Education/Experience: A Master’s degree in health/human services, business management, or public administration or Bachelor’s Degree with equivalent experienceAppropriate State of Michigan substance abuse credentialsAt least four (4) years of successful supervisory experienceValid Michigan Chauffeur License and approved by The Salvation Army MVRT.B. test, police clearance, and MDOC LEIN clearance requiredSkills, Knowledge & Abilities: Good communication skillsComputer Skills:Advanced Microsoft Office 365 skillsCertificates and Licenses: Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as neededJob RequirementsThe Salvation Army offers the following benefits:Health Care Benefits which includeMedicalDentalVisionHearingFlexible spending accountsAFLACVoluntary life insurance benefitsPension contributions (currently 5.25% of your earnings) begin the first quarter after 1 year of employment.Vesting begins after five years of re-employment; full vesting occurs after ten years of employmentThe Salvation Army also offers a 403(b) voluntary retirement savings plan in which you may participate immediately, with approved vendors.
