Sheet Metal Apprentice A growing Mechanical Systems Company in Memphis, TN is looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Sheet Metal Apprentices. You'll work closely with experienced technicians to learn the trade, develop technical skills, and contribute to successful project completion.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with measuring, cutting, and assembling sheet metal for HVAC systemsSupport installation of ductwork and related componentsLoad, unload, and transport materials and tools to job sitesMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow safety procedures and company standards at all timesLearn and apply industry techniques and best practicesRequired QualificationsValid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving recordStrong interest in learning the sheet metal/HVAC tradeAbility to lift 50 lbs and perform physical job duties (including working in crawlspaces, attics, and on ladders)Comfortable working at heights and on scaffoldingPrior experience in construction, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC is a plus, but not requiredCandidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
