ServiceNow Technical DeveloperThis position is for ServiceNow Developer with technical and communication skills needed to support ongoing and emerging development and maintenance programs. ServiceNow Developer will work with a team to manage, report and communication the configuration, implementation and maintenance of a ServiceNow system. Additional duties may include authoring, correcting and updating formal/technical documents, contributing to presentations, supporting design reviews and supporting customer requests for information.

It is important that the candidates have a willingness to learn program/organizational processes and procedures and are willing to recommend improvements to both.Responsibilities:Perform day to day support, administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow platformDemonstrates requirements gathering and analysis, solution design, development task management, quality assurance, configuration and release management and deploymentWork closely with the ServiceNow functional team to build workflows to manage processes received internally from teams and projects.Develop, configure and improve core and custom applicationsWork directly with end users to resolve support issues within ServiceNowMonitor health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNowDevelop systems integrations and process automationPerform installation and testing of ServiceNow updates and new releasesDemonstrates working knowledge of ServiceNow core architecture and especially modules such as CMDB, Discovery, Incident/Change/Problem Management, Orchestration, ServiceMapping (a must)Integrates ServiceNow with third-party tools like Jira, Qualys etc.Effectively analyze and solve problemsAbility to work directly with internal (IT) and external clientsEnforce and automation infrastructure traceability and repeatability relating to configuration environment managementIdentify system deficiencies and recommend solutionsEnsure appropriate tools and processes are in place to have a development/test/production environment that is reliable and reproducibleAdhere to organizational ITIL and ITSM standardsOther Functions:Be able to work independently and in a team environment managing a range of situations involving business stakeholders, vendor partners and technical resources.Submit detailed records in a timely manner (time sheets, tickets, reports, etc).Attend and participate in regularly scheduled team meetings.Available for on-call and emergency response as needed.Identify and escalate business and technical opportunities as appropriate.Off hour work and overnight travel may be required.Maintain a high level of professionalism with business stakeholders, vendors and staff.Perform all responsibilities in alignment with the core values of Red RobinOther duties as assignedRequired Skill Set:Expert ServiceNow administration experience, ServiceNow Admin Certification is preferredExpert knowledge with ServiceNow ITSM moduleExpert knowledge in developing workflows, business rules, UI Pages, UI actions, catalog itemsDemonstrate knowledge of JavaScripts, Angular JSDemonstrate knowledge of various ServiceNow integrations with any other external tools like Qualys, Jira, Okta etc.Must have expert knowledge on how Rest API works with ServiceNow.Demonstrated experience relating to Application Dashboard establishment to support various reportingExperience working with SAFe, Agile FrameworkDemonstrate experience working with managing CMDB in ServiceNow.Expert knowledge relating to ServiceNow Dev instance establishment and migration to Test and Prod changesMust demonstrate senior level ability to write detailed documentationQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required3+ years of ServiceNow administration experience (required)Experience working with SAFe, Agile FrameworkExperience working with ServiceNow platform in an Admin/Developer role.Able to handle enterprise, multi-tier ServiceNow and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery framework – Dev, Test, Production, ReleaseSolid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSSServiceNow System Administrator certification (preferred)Experience in ITIL a plusApplicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
