Job Duties, including all but not limited to:
- Prepares room for dining
- Adheres to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
- Helps guests select food and beverages by presenting menu; offers cocktails and aperitifs; suggests courses; explains menu items in detail; identifies appropriate wines; answers food preparation questions.
- Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording guests' choices, while identifying dietary needs and special requests.
- Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression.
- Serves orders by picking up and delivering items for guests from the bar and kitchen
- Inquires and responds to needs of guests; observe dining process.
- Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses.
- Utilizes the POS by inputting menu items and closing out guests’ bills
- Contributes to overall team effort to provide the utmost dining experience to guests
Requirements:
- Resume and proven working experience as a server
- Knowledge of wine and spirits
- At least one year of customer service experience
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Attention to detail
