Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Senior Litigation/Trial Attorney with 10+ years of experience and a strong background in real estate litigation and landlord/tenant law to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive litigation experience, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex cases with a talented team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
- Draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, and briefs
- Conduct legal research and analyze case law
- Attend court hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials
- Develop case strategies and advise clients accordingly
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular case updates
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- 8+ years of litigation experience with a focus on real estate, unlawful detainer, or landlord/tenant law
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Active membership in the California State Bar
