This position is responsible for overseeing daily transportation activities, ensuring on-time deliveries, maintaining compliance, and driving continuous improvement across the department.Key ResponsibilitiesLead transportation teams to achieve safety, service, and cost-performance objectives.Develop and coach transportation managers, drivers, dispatchers, and support staff to build a high-performing organization.Oversee hiring, staffing, employee engagement, retention, and performance management efforts.Ensure accurate, efficient, and timely delivery operations while addressing service challenges and implementing effective solutions.Maintain compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and workplace safety requirements.Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase productivity, reduce costs, and eliminate operational waste.Review key performance metrics and recommend strategies to enhance operational results.Support a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer service, and continuous improvement.QualificationsFive or more years of leadership experience in transportation, fleet, distribution, or delivery operations.Strong understanding of transportation best practices, DOT regulations, OSHA requirements, and compliance standards.Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop teams.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.If you are interested, please apply!
