Senior TechnicianNextGen Security, LLC is looking for an experienced electronic security service technician to join our fast growing and dynamic team.What you'll be doing:Project oversight in the fieldSystem programmingProject activation and commissioningInstallation of field devicesServicing of high-end integrated security devices*Some travel may be required.What you bring to the table:Minimum of 5 years of experience with installing and maintaining: enterprise-level access control systems, intrusion detection systems (IDS), both fiber and copper based, enterprise-level video management systems (IP-based)Networking and IT knowledgeSuperior problem solving and communication skillsWork independently with minimal supervisionFamiliarization with local electronic security codes and industry standardsAbility to safely operate a company vehicleUnderstanding and ability to work safely in a chemical plant environmentExperience with AutoCAD, Visio, MS Project and other Microsoft productsPreferred:Access Control System Vendor Certifications in Software House, Genetec, Open Options, ProWatch and/or LenelVideo Management System Vendor Certifications in Genetec, OnSSI, MaxPro, and/or MilestoneIntrusion Detection System Vendor Certifications in Senstar / Optellios, and/or FFTExperience in computer operating systems, network design and implementationTWIC CardholderWhat we bring to the table:An awesome, collaborative cultureSalary based upon background and experienceCompany VehicleFull benefits packagePaid vacationCellphone AllowanceWe are an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
