Seeking an experienced Infrastructure Administrator , with both passion and experience in the administration of Azure in multi-regional private datacenters. As an Infrastructure Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, stability, and security of our Azure Local environment and its integration with Azure Cloud.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on break/fix support and diagnostics, including the provisioning of new resources, managing after-hours maintenance to production hardware, and assisting in both performing penetration testing and with rapid remediation efforts of any findings, with a sense of urgency.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Azure Local hosts to ensure high-availability and optimal performance.
- Execute and monitor automated stack update process, perform manual high-risk patching and upgrades to maintain compliance and security standards for all workloads in the private datacenter.
- Implement and manage host-level security controls, including firewall rules and access controls.
- Collaborate with Engineering teams to implement new features and functionality and ensure seamless interaction between Azure Local and Azure Cloud environments through Azure Arc
- Work from a pre-prioritized work-item backlog, executing assigned work-items in an organized, efficient, and expedited fashion, without deterrent.
- Create and maintain knowledgebase documentation, including operational runbooks, disaster recovery plans, and regulatory audit compliance evidencing.
- Participate in regulatory compliance (HITRUST/SOC2) evidencing for audits.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Hyperconverged Infrastructure Administration
- Experience using WDS, SCCM, or similar tools to capture and distribute images over multicast
- Experience configuring a ground-up network boot (PXE) deploy of Windows Deployment Services, with or without Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, to deliver fully-joined and ready-for-service Windows Servers as either bare-metal or virtual servers
- Prior professional experience with bare-metal Windows Server installation, management, troubleshooting, and performance optimization, in a datacenter environment.
- Familiarity with security best practices and common compliance standards at a high-level.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills required.
- Implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex environments.
