We are looking for a Java Software Engineer with strong experience in backend development, microservices, and event-driven applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, REST APIs, and SQL .
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot .
- Design and develop microservices and REST APIs .
- Build event-driven applications using Apache Kafka .
- Develop Kafka producers and consumers and work with topics, partitions, and consumer groups.
- Work with SQL databases and optimize queries when needed.
- Troubleshoot application issues and improve system performance.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployments.
- Collaborate with QA, product, and engineering teams in an Agile environment.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of experience in software development.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Java .
- Experience with Spring Boot and Microservices .
- Strong experience with Apache Kafka .
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases .
- Experience with Git and CI/CD .
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms .
- Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes .
