Location: Rockville, MD or Tysons Corner, VA
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)

Summary

Seeking a Senior Security Engineer with expertise in Email Security, AWS Security, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Data Classification . This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls that protect enterprise systems and sensitive data. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience securing Google Workspace environments, managing AWS security services, and supporting enterprise data protection initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise security controls and solutions
• Identify security risks and vulnerabilities and implement remediation strategies
• Administer and secure Google Workspace (Gmail) and Secure Email Gateway platforms
• Protect against phishing, malware, and data exfiltration threats
• Manage AWS security controls including IAM, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and monitoring solutions
• Support data protection operations, alerting, investigations, and incident response
• Implement and manage DLP, data classification, and labeling solutions
• Support security audits, compliance initiatives, and control documentation
• Lead security projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of Information Security, Cybersecurity Engineering, or Cyber Operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience
• Experience implementing enterprise security controls across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to attend an onsite interview in Rockville, MD
• Ability to work onsite 3 days per week in either Rockville, MD or Tysons Corner, VA
