Job Title: Senior Salesforce Engineer

Salary: $20–30/Hour | Company: American Express | Location: Montgomery, USA | Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Responsibilities

• Expand and enforce Salesforce declarative answers, customizations, packages, extensions and integrations to deliver solutions that impact more than one structure and product
• Perform code critiques, auto‑hoc pair programming; contribute to iterative improvement of tools, automation and practices used by the team
• Increase and improve our CI/CD workflow tools and techniques
• Perform ongoing refactoring of code, utilize visualization and different strategies to speed‑up concepts, and supply continuous development
• Sell inner sourcing
• Lead and mentor a team of 5–8 junior engineers
• Capacity to talk and interact efficiently with humans of every age and various backgrounds
• Ability to investigate commercial enterprise necessities and architect/estimate answers at diverse scales
• Analyze new technology and force opportunities for adoption
• Coordinate and lead the complete answer cycle through near collaboration with product partners and engineering teams in our environment
• Facilitate discussions to pick out alternative or distinctive techniques to clear up issues, reduce boundaries and pressure resolution of conflicts to ensure productivity of the team

Qualifications

• BS degree or higher in computer technology or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer
• 4+ years of experience on an agile development team using a cutting‑edge programming language (Apex/Java/C#/Scala/Python/etc.)
• Experience in requirements definition and solutioning of complex needs for at least six cloud engagements
• Eight or more Salesforce implementations preferred
• Strong knowledge and prior experience deploying Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and SFDX
• Experience in deploying a 1+ publisher network and 1+ partner network
• Hands‑on experience in Apex, Lightning web components, JavaScript, JavaScript‑based frameworks such as React/Angular, and UI frameworks
• Strong expertise in utility, data security and finance‑related compliance standards
• Strong knowledge of microservices, server‑less functions, and RESTful API development
• Enterprise‑scale engineering experience with industry best practice tooling (e.g., Git, Bitbucket, SVN, Stack Overflow, Jenkins, Maven, XLR, Jacoco, JMeter, Copado, Circle CI)
• Salesforce Platform App Builder, Salesforce Admin, Salesforce Developer, and Income Cloud consultant certifications are a plus
• Able to craft simple, elegant, and complete solutions
• High‑quality certification in Salesforce gadget architect and application architect; experience with large data sets, MuleSoft, Heroku, and Tableau; prior experience deploying and integrating advertising cloud solutions
