You will collaborate cross-functionally to define test requirements, develop automated test environments, and ensure our products meet rigorous performance, reliability, and quality standards.As our Senior RF Test Engineer, you will:Test Planning & ExecutionCollaborate with design and production teams to define test requirements across product development stages (Proto, EVT, DVT, PVT)Design and execute comprehensive test cases for mechanical and electrical systemsRun tests at component and system level through all phases of product developmentTest Development & AutomationDevelop test software solutions in C# (Python, C, C++ a plus) for automated data collection and reportingBuild and maintain automated test environments and fixturesPublish and maintain testing schedules and progress updatesAnalysis & TroubleshootingAnalyze product performance and test results to validate against specificationsConduct root cause analysis of test failures and recommend corrective actionsDebug hardware, firmware, software, and test fixtures in lab environmentsDocumentation & MetricsCreate and maintain detailed test documentation and proceduresMaintain a centralized test database and track performance metricsDocument technical issues and resolutions for knowledge sharing and traceabilityQualifications of a Successful CandidateBS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field7+ years of experience in RF test engineering or a similar roleStrong grasp of communications theory and signal processingProficiency with test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.)Hands-on experience with communication protocols: FPGA, SerDes, I2C, Ethernet, PCI, USB, SPI, UARTProficiency in writing test software (C# required; Python, C, or C++ a plus)Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with ORAN, 3GPP 5G, or Wi-Fi systemsExperience with system-level validation/verificationKnowledge of quality standards, regulatory requirements, and testing techniquesBackground in analog electronics or electrical power systemsExperience leading or mentoring RF test teamsPerks of working at EridanWork on new technology that will make a significant impact on global infrastructureAbility to learn, develop, and advance within a flexible environmentCollaborate with smart, passionate, and helpful co-workersCelebrate progress company-widePre-IPO equity401K with automatic matchHealth, Vision and Dental insuranceSalary RangeGiven our anticipated growth, we are open to hiring individuals with varying levels of experience to fill this role. Salary will be commensurate with job-related skills, experience and other relevant factors.
