Senior Project ManagerMott MacDonald is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, and experienced Senior Project Manager with at least 8 years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure projects to join our Denver, Colorado office. In this role, you will build and lead a team of seller-doers, participate in local business development strategies, lead the technical development of proposals, and serve as the Senior Project Manager or Technical Design Lead on water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Colorado. The position offers excellent potential for professional growth and the opportunity to collaborate not only with water market personnel, but with our many practices including dams, geotechnical, energy, tunnels, and transportation.Responsibilities are as follows:Serve as project manager on large and complex projects with multi-discipline project teamsServe as Line Manager to recruit, develop, supervise, and retain junior staffServe as project principal, supervising less experienced project managers on smaller less complex projectsSupervise and direct preparation of planning studies, evaluations, and feasibility studies for water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure projectsSupervise and direct preparation of plans and specifications for new facilities and rehabilitation of existing facilitiesSupervise and direct construction engineering support services.Lead the technical development of proposalsServe as account leader responsible for creating and growing relationships with one or more clientsWe invite applications from candidates with the following experience:Strong business acumenBachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental or similar)Licensed as a Professional Engineer (Colorado preferred)8+ years total experience in planning, design, and construction management of water, and wastewater infrastructure projects for major utility clientStrong technical skills and technical leadership experience, preferably including water or wastewater treatment plants5+ years experience in managing multi-discipline project teams5+ years experience in managing proposals for engineering projectsExperience in an entrepreneurial environment managing and growing client relationships.Benefits & RewardAt Mott MacDonald, our employees have a stake and a voice in our business, providing them with a direct connection to our success through our personal and group performance bonuses.
