Senior Project Manager
Seattle preferred, or remote elsewhere on the West Coast (West Coast hours required)
$150,000 - 175,000 base salary plus bonus
Sniffies is a fast-growing, location-based GBTQ+ app that connects people in real time. We’re building a community rooted in openness, authenticity, and self-expression, and a culture that values autonomy and trust, for our users and our team alike. We move quickly, we’re small, and we take supporting our community seriously.
About the role
Our product managers own their roadmaps. We are looking for someone who owns delivery across them. Our biggest initiatives cut across web, native mobile, engineering, monetization, and growth.
As our Senior Project Manager, you’ll be in the heart of that work. You’ll map dependencies, keep releases on track, and bring the right people together early. You’ll handle some of the highest-stakes work in the company. You’ll also help shape how product and design plan the year: what ships each quarter, who owns it, and what depends on what.
What You’ll Do
Drive cross-functional delivery
- Lead high-priority projects from kickoff to launch, with clear scope, owners, milestones, and dependencies.
- Build and maintain an integrated delivery plan across web, native mobile, and supporting systems, so sequencing and release dependencies are visible to everyone.
- Turn ambiguous initiatives into concrete workstreams, and make clear who contributes, who decides, and who approves.
Partner with product, engineering, and design
- Work alongside PMs, engineering leads, and designers to understand priorities, capacity, and technical risk, and facilitate the tradeoff conversations that keep work moving.
- Make the implications of scope, quality, and timeline choices clear, so the right people can make informed decisions.
Own release readiness
- Coordinate web and native mobile release cycles, including App Store submission and review dependencies.
- Work with engineering and QA to plan testing, track defects, and make sure outstanding risks reach the people making launch calls.
Work across the wider business
- Bring in Trust & Safety and Legal early when work touches privacy, location data, moderation, or other sensitive experiences.
- Keep Marketing, Operations, and Support aligned with delivery, so launches land well for users and for the team.
Give leadership clear visibility
- Communicate status, risks, and decisions clearly, and escalate with options and recommendations rather than just problems.
- Build lightweight planning, status, and release practices that fit a small, fast-moving team, and refine them as we grow.
What You’ll Bring
- 7+ years of project management experience in software or digital product development, ideally at a consumer app company.
- A track record of leading complex, multi-team projects across both web and native mobile.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, testing practices, and mobile release processes, including the App Store.
- Experience coordinating technical delivery alongside legal, privacy, trust and safety, marketing, or operational reviews.
- The ability to drive accountability without direct authority, and to build the trust and goodwill that make people want to work with you.
- Practical, hands-on use of AI to make planning, documentation, and follow-up more efficient, paired with sound human judgment.
Why this role
This is a new role on a small team, and it sits right at the center of the work that matters most to us. You’ll be the person who connects the dots across teams and gets complex things shipped. You’ll also have real influence over how we plan and deliver as we scale.
We’re an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants of every background, identity, and experience. If this role excites you but you don’t tick every box, we’d still love to hear from you.
