Onsite Contract Product & Brand Marketing

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager focused on CoreWeave SUNK (Slurm on Kubernetes), you will be responsible for positioning and marketing CoreWeave’s research and training cluster offering for AI workloads. SUNK is a core product within the CoreWeave platform that supports large‑scale, long‑running training jobs where reliability, predictability, and operational visibility are critical.

You will develop clear, differentiated positioning and messaging that presents SUNK as the best research cluster for AI training—a researcher‑first system that preserves familiar Slurm workflows while reducing the complexity of operating large training environments. You will translate SUNK’s capabilities, including high‑performance scheduling, automated cluster health management, and deep operational visibility, into narratives that resonate with AI research leaders, platform teams, and technical buyers.

You will operate independently within a defined product scope, partnering closely with product management, engineering, sales, solutions architects, and marketing partners to bring new SUNK capabilities to market. This includes shaping launch narratives, incorporating customer and competitive insight, ensuring GTM assets reflect real‑world deployment scenarios, and scaling consistent, outcome‑oriented messaging across all sales motions.

Success in this role requires strong technical fluency, sound judgment, a bias toward execution, and the ability to use data and feedback to demonstrate the impact of your work on product adoption, deal progress, and competitive differentiation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Positioning & Messaging
  • Define differentiated positioning and messaging for CoreWeave SUNK as a core part of the CoreWeave platform, with emphasis on AI research and training workloads.
  • Develop narratives and demos that clearly articulate when and why customers choose SUNK as the best research cluster for long‑running, performance‑sensitive training jobs.
  • Create compelling launch moments and persona‑based messaging grounded in real research and training use cases, competitive context, and customer evidence.
  • Provide clear briefs and guidance to content and demand generation teams to scale SUNK messaging across the funnel.
  • Customer Proof
  • Partner with customer‑facing engineers, solutions architects, and customers to capture in‑production use cases for CoreWeave SUNK in research and training environments.
  • Create compelling case studies and customer validation assets that demonstrate outcomes such as reliability, predictability, and operational confidence at scale.
  • Collaborate with content marketing to carry customer proof forward across campaigns, launches, and sales motions.
  • Establish consistent mechanisms for capturing customer insight from high‑value research cluster deployments.
  • GTM & Sales Enablement
  • Equip Sales and Solution Architects with outcome‑focused deal kits, battlecards, and technical content that support research‑ and training‑focused sales motions.
  • Develop clear competitive guidance that helps teams position SUNK versus alternative schedulers, Slurm environments, and Kubernetes‑first approaches.
  • Ensure consistent, credible CoreWeave SUNK messaging across customer‑facing motions in alignment with the broader CoreWeave platform story.
  • Metrics & Measurement
  • Deliver updated messaging and positioning materials.
  • Demonstrate impact of internal GTM tools and assets with sales.
  • Map product marketing’s impact on deal velocity and contract value.
  • Demonstrate product marketing’s impact on platform adoption and retention.
  • Improve competitive win rates in research‑ and training‑related opportunities.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years in product marketing, technical marketing, product management or GTM—ideally within cloud infrastructure, AI and machine learning, SaaS, or enterprise tech.
  • Strong technical foundation with ability to work directly with engineering teams and solution architects.

  • Experience working with customer journeys, use cases, and customer proof such as case studies or testimonials.
  • Experience marketing platform or infrastructure products to research infrastructure, platform engineering, or highly technical buyer audiences.
  • Familiarity with AI research or training systems involving schedulers, clusters, or long‑running distributed workloads.
  • Proven track record of successful product launches and scaled cross‑functional marketing programs.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and cross‑functional partnership abilities with both technical and executive audiences.

Preferred

  • Experience working with AI and machine learning products, platforms, or workloads.
