Responsibilities
- Ensure safe, compliant dispensing and accurate pharmacological guidance to patients.
- Lead quality assurance by reviewing prescriptions, dosing, and interactions with precision.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, record‑keeping, and audit readiness across operations.
- Provide clinical counseling and patient education on medications and adherence.
- Oversee inventory management and control to minimize waste and shortages.
- Analyze pipelines and metrics to forecast demand and drive territory performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize treatment outcomes and processes.
- Mentor junior pharmacists and staff, promoting continuous professional development.
- Participate in the development of SOPs and improvement initiatives for efficiency.
- Support on‑site workflows to meet targets and contribute to overall team success.
- Represent the pharmacy in internal meetings, communicating results and progress clearly.
Experience and Qualifications
- Pharmacist licensure with active state license and board certification if applicable.
- Minimum 5+ years of clinical pharmacy experience in dispensing and patient counseling.
- Proven track record in quality assurance, medication safety, and error prevention.
- Strong regulatory knowledge: DEA/Controlled Substances, USP, and local regulatory requirements.
- Experience with inventory management, forecasting, and minimizing waste.
- Leadership ability to mentor junior pharmacists and drive continuous professional development.
- Ability to analyze pipelines and metrics to forecast demand and territory performance.
- Strong communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration and on‑site presence.
- Experience in developing and maintaining SOPs; initiative in process improvement.
- Strategic thinker with target‑driven mindset and high work visibility.
