The Opportunity

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe, compliant dispensing and accurate pharmacological guidance to patients.
  • Lead quality assurance by reviewing prescriptions, dosing, and interactions with precision.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, record‑keeping, and audit readiness across operations.
  • Provide clinical counseling and patient education on medications and adherence.
  • Oversee inventory management and control to minimize waste and shortages.
  • Analyze pipelines and metrics to forecast demand and drive territory performance.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize treatment outcomes and processes.
  • Mentor junior pharmacists and staff, promoting continuous professional development.
  • Participate in the development of SOPs and improvement initiatives for efficiency.
  • Support on‑site workflows to meet targets and contribute to overall team success.
  • Represent the pharmacy in internal meetings, communicating results and progress clearly.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Pharmacist licensure with active state license and board certification if applicable.
  • Minimum 5+ years of clinical pharmacy experience in dispensing and patient counseling.
  • Proven track record in quality assurance, medication safety, and error prevention.
  • Strong regulatory knowledge: DEA/Controlled Substances, USP, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with inventory management, forecasting, and minimizing waste.
  • Leadership ability to mentor junior pharmacists and drive continuous professional development.
  • Ability to analyze pipelines and metrics to forecast demand and territory performance.
  • Strong communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration and on‑site presence.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining SOPs; initiative in process improvement.
  • Strategic thinker with target‑driven mindset and high work visibility.
