About the Role: We’re partnering with a top U.S.-based packaging solutions provider to find a Flexible Packaging Engineer who can bring technical expertise and creativity to their R&D and packaging development team. This role focuses on flexible films, laminates, and pouch formats, helping the company design high-performance packaging that meets both consumer and sustainability demands.
Compensation
Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize flexible packaging formats (pouches, bags, films, laminates).
- Evaluate materials, test barrier properties, and ensure seal integrity.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to solve packaging challenges.
- Support form-fill-seal, lamination, and extrusion processes with technical guidance.
- Maintain compliance with relevant regulatory and quality standards (FDA, ISO).
- Document specifications, test results, and development processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of flexible packaging experience (films, laminates, pouches).
- Hands-on experience with FFS equipment, lamination, and heat sealing.
- Familiarity with barrier testing, tensile strength, and packaging material selection.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with sustainable or recyclable materials.
- Knowledge of CAD or 3D design software for packaging prototypes.
- Exposure to food, beverage, or pharmaceutical packaging.
