Description

Become an essential part of a patient‑focused imaging team dedicated to the early detection and treatment of breast disease. This role offers the opportunity to work in a high‑volume outpatient environment—either in a fixed site or mobile setting—where precision, compassion, and professionalism are at the heart of every interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high‑volume outpatient setting, including both fixed and mobile locations.
  • Produce high‑quality radiographic images while engaging with patients in a caring, supportive, and reassuring manner.
  • Carry out all required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA, either as the designated Quality Control technologist or under their direction.
  • Depending on location, utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams, conduct bone densitometry (DEXA) studies, or assist with breast‑related special procedures in collaboration with physician staff.

Required Qualifications

  • Formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Within 1 year of hire National Registered Technologist - Mammography

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of full‑time mammography

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
