You also have a specialization in a specific domain within infrastructure engineering to drive programs or initiatives consisting of multiple technologies and applications.Job responsibilitiesApplies deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies focused on analyzing complex data and systems, anticipating issues, and finding ways to mitigate riskUses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate analysis of complex infrastructure signals and documentation of mitigation options, validating outputs and handling operational data according to sensitivity and security requirementsWorks with other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize the organization and its technology processesBe responsible for infrastructure engineering in accordance with business requirementsDrives results and implements multiple complex programsDrives thought leadership within the product lineResponsible for infrastructure engineering in accordance with business requirements and executes work according to compliance standards, risk and security, and business objectivesLeads reuse-first adoption of AI-assisted practices across delivery and automation routines to reduce recurring issues, ensuring changes are validated, traceable and auditable, and aligned to resiliency and security expectationsConsiders upstream/downstream system or technical implications and advises on mitigation actionsAdvises junior engineers and technologistsAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience5+ years of full stack network design and deploymentOperating knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as software defined networks / zero touch provisioning, SD-WAN, fabric switching, Wi-Fi, and network security technologies and practices.Proficient in specific network infrastructure technology and programming languages (e.g., Python, Ansible, etc.)Technical knowledge across multiple domainsKnowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as: hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience or performance assessmentsDemonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support infrastructure engineering workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivityAbility to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before implementation, escalating when uncertain and ensuring outcomes align to resiliency, security, and auditability expectationsDeep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private cloudsDrives to develop infrastructure engineering knowledge of additional domains, data fluency, and automation knowledgePreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsExperience with wired/wireless LAN/BGP WAN/SD-WAN and 802.1x technologies from vendors including Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Fortinet, and ForescoutExhibits a growing initiative and the ability to manage assigned tasks efficiently, seeking guidance when needed and showing a willingness to find solutions and contribute to improvements with some supervisionDemonstrates strong communication skills, conveying ideas and challenges with clarity and precision to support understanding and effective collaborationFEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE ACT:This position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
