Senior Java DeveloperJob Location: Alpharetta, GA (100% Onsite)Positions: 2Employment Type: C2H (FTE Preferred)Duration: Long TermKey Technology: J2EE, REST API, WebMethodsJob Responsibilities:Accountable for driving production incidents to resolution, by analyzing and coordinating with the required parties and always acting as the owner and leader of the situation.Work On-Call shifts.Discuss technical issues with business analysts and developers.Build and optimize SQL queries in order to run on large databases efficientlyAnalyze Network issues, understand the flows and dependencies and discuss it with the Network engineers.Install, configure and maintain PKS – Kubernetes Web Services environments.Perform Root Cause Analysis.Participate in application performance testing and troubleshooting across whole software and hardware stack.Recreate problem locally and able to debug the code to identify underlying defects.Perform technical evaluation of the defects.Understand the impact of changes across the application.Operate effectively, and with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and escalate issues effectivelyDiscuss aspects of the design with architects, team leads and business analysts to check understanding and raise concernsSkills and Experience Required:Required:At least 5+ years working with Web Services based architectures (REST APIs, Web Methods, J2EE architecture).Demonstrated experience working with PKS – Kubernetes or Cloud based environmentsPrevious experience using Dynatrace APM tool.Previous experience developing REST API services.Fintech market experience.Automation and scripting proficiency (SQL Optimization, scheduled jobs, Splunk)Familiar with Network architecture (XML Gateways, Firewalls, Network diagrams, OneNet connection)Ability to multi-task demonstrating flexibility to easily adapt to changing business priorities.Good report generation skills.Knowledge of CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) process, Agile methodologies.MS Office experience.Desired:MS Project and MS Access experienceAwareness/experience of ITIL standard methodologies, ITIL Foundations certification or higherKnowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologiesExperience with Jenkins, Concourse, Git and middleware technologiesEducation:Bachelor's degree in information technology or related fields.Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or similar.
