Are you a Heavy Civil Structures Estimator looking to lead bids on complex bridge, DOT and dam projects at a nationally recognized Heavy Civil General Contractor that will genuinely invest in your career?

The Senior Structures Estimator is a critical addition to an already robust Estimating Division within Ames Construction's Mountain Office, a team carrying enormous experience across the Heavy Civil construction industry. Reporting directly to the Chief Estimator and VP Engineering, you will collaborate closely with the department's other senior estimators and leaders to lead a variety of complex Heavy Civil Structures projects — bridges, overpasses, heavy highway and DOT structures, dams and reservoirs — throughout Colorado and the wider Mountain region.

You will own your assigned bids from start to finish: developing a deep understanding of the plans, specifications and contracts, identifying and building win strategies, driving cost certainty, managing risk, and closing out your estimates. As a senior member of the team you'll also help mentor and shape the structures side of the division, and step up to support the wider team during critical pursuits.

Must have experience estimating heavy civil structures — bridges, overpasses, heavy highway/DOT structures, dams, reservoirs, or similar Self-performed structural concrete experience (formwork, rebar, cast-in-place and precast elements, foundations and deep foundations) desirable but not essential Must be willing and able to work in the office Monday–Friday Training and Development Comprehensive IT and Systems training Structured career development framework with comprehensive curriculum Company Truck or Monthly Vehicle Allowance
