Position Summary
A financial institution is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to work closely with the CFO across budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting, and management analysis. This is a highly visible role for someone who understands banking operations and can translate financial data into clear, decision-ready reporting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Analyze financial performance, variances, trends, and key business drivers.
- Develop financial models and management reports for the CFO.
- Support strategic planning and executive-level decision-making.
- Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Partner with accounting and business leaders to gather and validate financial information.
- Improve reporting processes, controls, and data accuracy.
- Prepare presentations and ad hoc financial analyses for senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Financial analysis experience within banking or financial services.
- Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to senior leadership.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
