Supporting Air Defense business line, you will own product and program financial management, income statement forecasting, and financial reporting across multiple products and programs.
Partnering closely with program management, proposals and capture, production, and business line leadership, you will explain financial performance and variance analysis at the contract, product, and per-unit level to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.What You'll DoOwn the financial management of key programs within the Air Defense business area, from bookings through delivery and closeoutPartner closely with the proposals and capture team to win new opportunities—shaping cost structure, pricing strategy, and margin targets that make bids competitive and profitableDrive the financial execution and profitability of new and existing programs, owning the P&L outcome across the program lifecycleApply a working knowledge of government contracting (contract types, cost accounting, and compliance) while thinking strategically and outside the box to support the needs of a non-traditional defense companyOwn rolling monthly forecasts, working closely with key engineering stakeholders (Product, Program, and Engineering Leads)Work with program management to develop and maintain ETC forecasts and EAC integrityAnalyze and monitor contract and product profit marginsDeliver monthly internal management reporting through presentations and written communicationsPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis at multiple accounting levelsBuild reports and automated dashboards in FP&A and ERP tools (Oracle, Foundry)Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and program teams across the full work order lifecycle—from work definitions and bills of material through build associations, WIP, and finished goods—to ensure production activity is captured and costed accuratelyAd hoc support and special projectsDrive continuous improvement in financial reporting tools, systems, and proceduresRequired Qualifications5+ years (Senior Financial Analyst) of experience as a financial analyst or in a related finance/accounting roleBachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fieldDoD and/or tech industry experience (preferred)Familiarity with ERP and EPM systems (e.g., Oracle, Oracle EPM) and the data flowing between the production floor and the general ledgerAbility to operate independently in a fast-paced environmentStrong understanding of financial systems, data management, and complex modelingProven ability to work effectively in a team environmentStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skillsMust be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearanceUS Salary Range$99,000 - $130,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
