in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a related field. MSEE is a plus.7+ years of professional hands-on experience in Electrical Engineering.Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations.Ability to travel for work-related purposes as needed; access to reliable transportation is required due to the nature of our business and multiple client sites.Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.Background checks are required.Preferred Qualifications:Strong digital and analog design skillsStrong troubleshooting and debugging skillsExperience with designing embedded systems (microcontrollers, FPGAs, etc.)Preferred experience with motor/motion control systemsExperience with working with various sensor technologies (gyros, cameras, microphones)Experience with low speed bus protocols such as I2C, SPI, CAN, UART, etc.Experience with high speed protocols such as PCIe, USB, MIPI is preferred.Experience with GigE, GMSL, LWIR, LRF or LIDAR is a plusExperience with RF designs is a plusResponsibilities:Author subsystem/system requirements and specifications, document design files and test criteria/plan for system and modules and support system validation.Design complex high density, multi-layer (10+ layers) PCBAs using Altium schematic and layout toolsPerform prototyping and bring-up of new design(s)Why join the Andrews Cooper team?
