This is a well-established, mid-sized MEP consulting engineering firm that partners with architects, developers, and end users across a diverse range of projects, including healthcare, commercial, education, and industrial facilities. In this role you will analyze project scope, set design parameters, complete key engineering calculations and develop electrical systems for building projects, supporting construction administration and carrying out occasional site surveys.

The Role:

• Lead electrical design for MEP / building services projects across healthcare, commercial, education and industrial facilities
• Power distribution, emergency power, UPS, lighting and controls, fire alarm and low-voltage / special systems design
• Engineering calculations (power, voltage drop, short circuit, lighting) and electrical studies (arc flash, coordination)
• Direct drafting resource, review deliverables, attend project meetings and support construction administration

The Person:

• Senior-level electrical engineering design experience within MEP / building services / consulting engineering
• Comfortable taking the lead on designs and stepping into a future department leadership role
• PE preferred (support available if you are working toward licensure)
