Senior Electrical EngineerLHB has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Energy & Industry business unit.This is a hybrid position based in our Duluth or Minneapolis locations. However, fully remote candidates will be considered under the right circumstances (if considered, needs to be within the following states that LHB is licensed to do business: CO, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA MI, MN, MO, MS, ND, NE, OH, OK, PA, SD, TN, TX, WI, WY).Position SummaryThe responsibilities for this exempt position will include but are not limited to:Electrical engineering design oversight for a variety of projects, including industrial electrical power distribution (high, medium, and low voltage), oil & gas, pulp & paper, renewable energy solutions, substation, and mining & heavy manufacturingProject management and PE oversight of multiple projects simultaneouslyNEC/NESC review/interpretation, design calculations, and equipment selection (including working with equipment vendors and manufacturers)Work on teams of LHB engineers (multidisciplinary), project managers, and drafting technicians to execute projectsPerform field verifications, identifying and organizing field data for design applications accordinglyProduce high quality professional documentation in accordance with LHB quality processesFollow all LHB and client safe working practices when working in the office and in the fieldMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program10+ years of prior relevant experienceLicensed PEUpon receipt of an offer of employment, applicants must be able to successfully complete pre-employment onboarding requirements that will include a criminal/civil background check and drug screen, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.Preferred QualificationsDesign experience in one or more of the following areas:Oil & gasSubstationMedium voltage (5kV) power distributionPulp & paperRenewable energy solutionsMining & heavy manufacturingProject management experienceEmployee supervision experienceExcellent communication, interpersonal, time management and problem-solving skillsVersatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing prioritiesWillingness to travel intermittently for team/client meetings, project site visits, training, etc.Willingness to work overtime as neededSelf-motivated individual with the ability to work productively with limited direction and supervisionBenefitsHybrid Work EnvironmentPaid HolidaysPaid Time OffMedical and DentalHSA/FSA (Medical, Dependent Care, Parking Transportation)Basic Life and AD&D401(k) with Company MatchEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee-Owned Company/Opportunities to become a ShareholderSalary RangeThis position's anticipated base salary range is $110,000- $150,000 annually (This position is eligible for yearend bonuses).
