Senior Electrical Engineer – Bloomington, MN (Hybrid)The Senior Electrical Engineer will work in a fast-paced multi-discipline team environment responsible for designing building systems and producing construction documentation for institutional projects in the higher education, government, mission critical and healthcare markets. We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to be part of our firm.Responsibilities:Design electrical systems including lighting, power, fire alarm, telecom and security.Develop calculations for lighting systems and associated controls.Develop electrical system design calculations.Prepare detailed design documents in REVIT.Perform QA/QC design work.Lead a project team and manage projects.Coordinate with Owners and Architects.Coordinate work with other disciplines.Complete code compliance research.Oversee and provide guidance to junior engineers.Assist in the procurement of new work, including the development of client relations.Qualifications and Experience:Minimum of 8 years' design experience as registered engineer (required)Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related fieldProfessional Engineer license, PE (required)Experience with complex institutional projectsLEED experience, certification is desiredFamiliar with codes, standards and design guidelinesExcellent work ethic and attitudeInterpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize workAbility to lead a team as well as work as part of a teamProficient in Revit and MS OfficeLocation: Bloomington, MN (Hybrid)Travel: 10%Compensation & Benefits:The expected base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000 USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
