Skydio is seeking an engineer focused on electric motors and propulsion systems to model, architect, optimize, and refine the propulsion that powers our drones. You will build robust models of motor power, losses, and thermal behavior, and apply motor control theory to improve performance and efficiency.
Collaborating with ESCs, motors, and propellers teams, you will design tests, simulate results, and explore innovative motor technologies.
