Role & Team

Proofpoint's Alliances and Business Development team operates like a special forces unit, focused on driving revenue through strategic partnerships.

As the Senior Director of Strategic Alliances, you will report directly to the Group Vice President of Alliances and Business Development and lead key alliances with CrowdStrike and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Deepen strategic relationships across partner product groups and field teams.
• Identify and develop joint growth opportunities.
• Foster collaboration between internal and external teams.
• Deliver measurable outcomes that increase market presence and revenue.
• Negotiate complex partnership agreements aligned with organizational strategy and revenue objectives.
• Engage at executive levels within partner organizations to achieve strategic alignment.
• Collaborate with enterprise sales teams, channel partners, marketing, and field organizations to drive joint go‑to‑market execution and pipeline growth.

Qualifications

• Proven track record managing and growing strategic alliances with major technology companies such as CrowdStrike and AWS with measurable impact on revenue and market presence.
• Experience structuring and negotiating complex partnership agreements.
• Technical and GTM knowledge of CrowdStrike cybersecurity products and AWS technology stack, including AWS Marketplace and GTM routines.
• Strong leadership abilities, able to motivate and align diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent relationship‑building and executive‑level influence.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate market opportunities and partnership value propositions.
• Proactive, decisive decision‑making with strategic insight.
