DevOps EngineerAs a growing company, CRISP Shared Services is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps team and drive the implementation of CSS’s applications and services. CRISP is a Health Information Exchange that takes data provided by our participants and in turn makes that data available at the Point of Care to facilitate better health outcomes.The CRISP DevOps team works closely with the Engineering and Infrastructure teams to securely design, build, test and deploy a highly scalable environment in our Azure Cloud. Our teams currently use the Azure DevOps platform, Azure Pipelines, Terraform, and several native Azure services to help deliver our applications and services to be used directly at the Point of Care.The ideal candidate will bring several years of experience in a DevOps role on the Azure platform.
The candidate will be tasked with learning the environment, understanding the existing DevOps processes, and providing direction on furthering CRISP’s DevOps capabilities. The candidate will be instrumental in ensuring our API endpoints, applications, and architecture are secured, available, and performant.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesProvide expertise in security, networking, and the Azure cloud to evaluate and improve deployed environments.Guide the team on best practices, patterns, and vision for the application and automation infrastructureFurther enhance CRISP’s maturity and efficiency in building CICD pipelines and orchestrationWork closely with developers to ensure that operations policies and efforts align with design/development processParticipate in the technical design of new systems and architectures to ensure scalability, security, and availabilityEstablish policies and procedures for deploying code developed by our external vendor partnersInitiate and produce technology documentation and standard operating proceduresServe as Tier 3 escalation between the Application Support team and the Engineering teamUtilize deployment documentation to perform successful UAT and Production deploymentsTroubleshoot and resolve deployment issuesQualificationsFamiliarity with publishing and deploying ASP.NET Core, React.js and Angular.js applicationsHands on experience building and maintaining pipelines as codeHands on experience leveraging PowerShell and Azure CLI to automate deployment processesHands on experience with using GitHub as a source control system to manage versioning of IaCExperience with Azure DevOps, Terraform, and the Azure cloud4+ years of software engineering and DevOps experienceExperience configuring Azure services (Azure App Services, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure API Management, Azure Key Vault, Azure AD, etc.)Experience with Configuration Management and Infrastructure as CodeExperience designing and implementing secure Azure infrastructureExperience in Agile sprint commitment and Scrum iterative deliveryExperience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) preferredAbility to troubleshoot complex networking architectures would be an advantageDetail oriented to keep detailed notes and troubleshooting steps on ticketsExcellent oral and written communication skillThe following Azure Certifications are preferred:Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer ExpertMicrosoft Certified: Azure Administrator AssociateMicrosoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
