Senior DeveloperSAP Labs, LLC seeks a Senior Developer at our San Ramon, CA location responsible for development focusing on design, coding, testing, quality assurance of complex product features in a development team.Expectations and tasks include:Resolving complex issues within own area of expertise and supporting others in resolving issues.Showing initiative and driving topics to resolution in a high level of quality, speed, reliability, and efficiency.Working closely together with others and sharing expertise to ensure product success.Constantly improving own work methods to gain state-of-the-art agile software engineering skills.Enhancing skills beyond own core functional focus and working on other tasks for the benefit of the team.If serving as a Scrum Master, will be responsible for promoting and supporting Scrum by helping everyone understand Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values.Education and occupational experience: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.Qualifications/skills and competencies include:Four (4) years involving each of the following: Java; Agile/Scrum methodologies; Database management, including SQL, HANA, and MySQL; Performance, Unit and integration testing frameworks, including JUnit, Apache JMeter; Spring Boot Framework; AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP); CI/CD pipeline design and DevOps tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins; JProfiler, IntelliJ, and Splunk; Troubleshooting and fixing live customer issues independently; Designing and developing full life cycle of REST APIs including design, development, upgrade, and maintenance; and Backend development and API design.Travel: N/A.
