Key Responsibilities for the Sr. Cost Accountant Role:
- Oversee inventory accounting, costing, and cost of goods sold (COGS) activities.
- Manage inventory costing methodologies and item maintenance within NetSuite.
- Support month-end close, inventory reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Monitor inventory reserves, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve inventory accuracy, processes, and reporting.
Qualifications for the Sr Cost Accountant:
- 6+ years of cost accounting and inventory accounting experience within biotech, life sciences, manufacturing, or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory costing, COGS, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Experience with NetSuite and advanced Excel skills highly desired.
