Our client is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Senior Corporate Accountant to provide analytical and accounting support on a variety of topics within their different divisioins. You will become the go-to person for financial information including training other accountants and preparing reports for senior members of the finance team. Progressive career path offered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of financial analysis for assigned trial balances/divisions including balance sheet and income statement variance analysis which explain changes in significant balances from period to period.
- Completing monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for certain accounts.
- Completing income statement account reconciliations for select accounts.
- Maintain detailed and organized documentation for working papers to support financial reports.
- Being a key resource regarding adherence to accounting policies and SOX standards and procedures.
Education:
- BA Accounting, CPA strongly preferred (or some parts completed)
