Senior Controller - Murgado Automotive Group | Miami, FL

Murgado Automotive Group is a growing dealership organization with 29 locations and 25 brands across five states . We are seeking an experienced Senior Controller to provide financial leadership, strengthen controls, and support operational performance across multiple dealerships at our Miami Campus.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and financial reporting.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity and oversee critical reconciliations.
• Manage and develop dealership accounting teams.
• Partner with General Managers to improve profitability and control expenses.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with OEM requirements, audits, and internal controls.
• Drive process improvements and reporting automation using Tekion and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of automotive dealership accounting experience.
• Controller or Senior Controller experience in a multi-store environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, OEM accounting, floorplan financing, and dealership operations.
• Proven leadership, communication, and process improvement skills.
• Tekion experience preferred.
