Hybrid Full Time Management & Operations

The Senior Consultant will play a key role in delivering strategic, financial and M&A advisory services to clients within the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry. This position will work directly with business owners and executives, managing client engagements, analyzing financial and operational data, developing strategic deliverables and supporting business development initiatives. The ideal candidate is an analytical, entrepreneurial professional who thrives in a fast-paced consulting environment and is comfortable managing multiple high-priority projects while delivering executive-level insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, managing day-to-day communication and project execution.
  • Lead client engagements and coordinate multiple project workstreams.
  • Develop M&A and strategic advisory deliverables, including teasers, CIMs and management presentations.
  • Analyze financial and operational data and translate findings into actionable business insights.
  • Develop strategic recommendations aligned with client objectives.
  • Support business development through prospective client meetings, outreach and proposal development.
  • Prepare board and executive-level presentations and materials.
  • Manage multiple high-priority projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver client-focused solutions.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members and analysts.
  • Contribute to the continued growth and development of the consulting practice.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field required.
  • Master’s degree, MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus.
  • Seven to 12 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, financial advisory, corporate finance or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex analysis and meeting notes into clear, client-ready materials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data analytics tools.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.
  • Strong executive presence and client-facing communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a high degree of initiative and ownership.
  • FINRA SIE, Series 63 and Series 79 certifications preferred.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with an initial expectation of four days per week in the office in Denver or Chicago.
