Civil - Senior Engineering Technician - Substation

Required Skills
11+ years of experience in civil engineering design, drafting, or engineering technician roles
Associate degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering Design Technology, or a related field
Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Experience creating and reviewing civil/site development designs and construction drawings
Knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater management, erosion control, roadways, underground utilities, and site layouts
Experience with quantity takeoffs, engineering calculations, estimates, and technical documentation
Ability to interpret and apply engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design requirements
Strong experience with drawing production, quality review, and document/drawing control
Ability to work on complex civil design assignments with limited supervision
Experience coordinating with engineering/design teams and other disciplines
Ability to provide technical guidance, training, and mentoring to junior team members
Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving and communication skills
Experience supporting field activities and construction-related design requirements
Ability to manage work according to project schedules, budgets, and quality requirements
