Location: San Ramon, CA (Only Local candidate)

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced AWS Engineer with 12+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, AWS services, automation, and DevOps practices. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
• Implement cloud solutions focused on scalability, reliability, and security.
• Manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, etc.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Automate deployments and infrastructure provisioning.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Development, Security, and Architecture teams.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud environments.
• Implement cloud security, access controls, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of IT experience with strong AWS expertise.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture and infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of AWS networking, security, IAM, and monitoring.
• Experience with Terraform/CloudFormation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong scripting skills using Python, Shell, or similar.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes is preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
