Senior Attorney – Commercial & Complex Business Litigation
Location: Miami, FL (Hybrid)
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Attorney to join a highly respected Miami law firm with a strong commercial, complex business, or real estate litigation practice. This is a hybrid opportunity offering the chance to work on sophisticated, high-stakes litigation matters while collaborating with an experienced legal team. This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys handling complex disputes, developing litigation strategies, and providing strategic legal guidance to business clients.
Role Expectations:
- Handle a diverse range of complex commercial, business, or real estate litigation matters from inception through resolution or trial.
- Represent businesses, property owners, and other clients in complex litigation and business disputes.
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, correspondence, and other litigation-related documents.
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies for complex legal and factual issues.
- Take and defend depositions and represent clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial.
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active Florida Bar admission (required)
- 3+ years of experience in complex commercial, business, and/or real estate litigation
- Strong background in complex commercial/business litigation and real estate disputes
- Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 – $200,000 base. Factors that may affect pay include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
