Senior Architect / Project ManagerWe are supporting a growth-oriented architecture firm seeking a Senior Architect / Project Manager to lead projects and support their continued growth.This role is suited for an architect who can guide projects from concept through construction, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and navigate client and technical challenges while delivering successful project outcomes.The position offers the opportunity to take on increasing leadership responsibility within the firm.Qualified employees participate in an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), receiving annual allocations that build long-term ownership with firm success.ResponsibilitiesReport to a Vice President / Principal in Charge and operate with a high level of autonomyLead projects from planning through construction, including schematic design, documentation, and construction administrationEstablish project plans and oversee execution from kickoff through occupancyCoordinate engineering and specialty consultants, including structural, MEP, civil, technology, food service, and others as requiredParticipate in internal and external project meetings with clients, consultants, and contractorsSupport design work with 3D models, visualizations, mockups, and presentation materials as neededParticipate in technical review processes throughout all project phases to ensure quality and performanceAssist with client presentations, interviews, and strategies to secure new workDevelop and review building plans in collaboration with project teamsEstimate project costs, track budgets, and monitor financial performanceManage project schedules, timelines, billings, payments, and contractsMaintain working relationships with clients, contractors, and consultantsProvide mentorship to team membersQualificationsProfessional degree in ArchitectureTen (10) or more years of experience in architecture, engineering, or construction environmentsExperience with BIM and hands-on production and coordination workflowsTechnical SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience preferred as the firm continues its transition to industry standardsExperience with tools such as Bluebeam, Navisworks, BIM 360 / ACC, and cloud-based collaboration platformsFamiliarity with Deltek/Vantage or similar project management systems a plusProfessional AttributesDemonstrated ability to lead projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teamsClient-facing experience with responsibility for scope, schedule, and deliveryAbility to balance design intent, technical requirements, budget, and scheduleComfortable operating in a project-driven environment with multiple active prioritiesCollaborative, solutions-oriented approach to project challengesWhy Join UsEstablished firm with decades of experience serving Michigan clientsOpportunity for continued growth working closely with senior leadership and contributing to initiatives supporting the firm's continued growth
