Senior AccountantPopli Design Group (PDG), a growing multi-disciplined Architecture/Engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant to add to our talented and dedicated Operations team! This individual will oversee and lead firm accounting activities while PDG continues its road to growth and continued success.Responsibilities:Manage General Ledger, Accounts Receivables/Payables to ensure timely and accurate processingOversee the firm's 4-person accounting teamPrepare monthly/quarterly/yearly financial statements including estimated overhead burdenPreparation and submission of quarterly and annual Federal and State returnsPrepare and manage depreciation schedules for office equipment, etc.Preparation of job-costing and distribution of information to Project Managers on a regular basisMonitor and assist Project Managers with cost overrunsPrepare documentation for CPA's annual filingsRequired Skills:Familiarity with most current accounting softwareFamiliarity with FAR regulations a plusAbility to interact with other group functions/departmentsFamiliarity with HR compliance and functions (desirable)A strong understanding of the Architectural and Engineering (A/E) industries and Public Sector clients (desirable)Must be a proactive team player, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality of informationExperience, Education and Certifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related curriculum coupled with relevant prior accounting experience.10+ years of accounting experience preferably with medium size A/E FirmCPA is desirable, but not requiredAbout Popli Design Group (PDG)PDG is a well-established multi-disciplinary architecture and engineering firm that has been serving clients since 1982.
