Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant | Seattle | $90K to $115K

Looking for an accountant who wants real ownership and a clear path to leading the team. A growing consulting firm is hiring a Senior Accountant to be the right hand to its Controller. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to partners and the chance to grow into a leadership position. The firm is small, tight-knit and growing.

What you'll do:

• Own day-to-day accounting including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and account reconciliations
• Support project accounting: update billing rates, review PM invoices, and track billable vs. non-billable time
• Serve as the go-to accounting partner for the project managers
• Manage the accounting inbox and vendor relationships
• Take on special projects as the firm grows, including multi-jurisdiction tax questions and audits

What you bring:

• Well-rounded accounting experience with the ability to handle a wide range of tasks independently
• Project accounting experience strongly preferred
• Confidence to work directly with PMs and partners and help them get it right
• A resourceful, figure-it-out mindset and a desire to grow
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
