The Senior Accounting Treasury Analyst will execute on this mission in collaboration with peers and support of Accounting Leadership.RolePerforms complex accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standardsPreparation of Non-GAAP and GAAP supporting schedules in connection with the Earnings Release and 10Q/10K FilingsLeverages performance management tools and reporting to track progress and consolidate operational resultsEscalates areas of operational risk and opportunities making specific recommendations on resolutionsIdentifies & Assists with the implementation of process improvementsPerforms, updates and maintains existing access and reports from various banking systemsSupports SOX/Audit compliance and assisting with control improvementsSupports special projects as requested; provides ad-hoc support to senior managementAll About YouBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceCertified Public AccountantMBA preferredDemonstrates comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements and financial reporting requirements and consistently delivers accurate work on a timely basisExperience managing projectsAbility to build trusted relationships with business partnersAbility to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency and accuracyCorporate Security ResponsibilityAll activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must:Abide by Mastercard's security policies and practices;Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed;Report any suspected information security violation or breach, andComplete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard's guidelines.In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
