Our Client is seeking a Senior Development Accountant to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to take a leading role in real estate development accounting.
Location: Miami, FL
Salary: $82,500.00-$110,000.00
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and review budgets, project-level financial statements, and construction draw packages
- Monitor project costs and ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with project managers, internal teams, and external stakeholders on financial matters
- Assist with audits, reporting, and analysis to support executive decision-making
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of accounting experience with real estate development exposure
- Experience with construction draws, project-level reporting, and cost tracking
- Proficiency in Excel; Yardi or similar property accounting systems preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects
- Effective communicator, able to work with internal teams and external partners
- Affordable housing or LIHTC experience a plus
