Senior Accountant – Manufacturing Greater Saginaw Area, MI | Direct Hire
Adecco Permanent Recruitment is representing a growing manufacturing organization in the Greater Saginaw area in the search for an experienced Senior Accountant .
This is a hands-on accounting position with a strong focus on cost accounting, plant financial reporting, inventory, and general ledger accounting . The Senior Accountant will work closely with finance leadership and operations and will have visibility across multiple areas of the business. This could be a great opportunity for someone currently working as a Senior Accountant, Cost Accountant, Plant Accountant, or experienced Staff Accountant who is ready to take on broader responsibility within a manufacturing environment.
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP Support month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity Review inventory activity, costing, and cycle-count results Support plant-level financial reporting and analysis Assist with cash-flow and financial forecasting Review intercompany activity and account balances Support annual budgeting and year-end audit requirements Partner with operations and finance leadership on reporting, analysis, and special projects Help maintain accurate financial controls and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred Approximately 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Cost accounting experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of GAAP, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting Strong Microsoft Excel skills ERP/accounting systems experience Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and operational teams This is a confidential direct-hire search being represented by Adecco Permanent Recruitment .
