The Senior Accountant is responsible for accurate financial reporting and month-end close across multiple legal entities. This role owns key balance sheet areas, supports acquisitions and integrations, and partners closely with Finance and FP&A on process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Own month-end close for assigned entities and accounts
- Manage intercompany transactions and eliminations
- Review financial results and prepare variance analysis
- Review staff work and provide guidance and oversight
- Support acquisition accounting, including opening balance sheets
- Act as a NetSuite power user (journals, reporting, workflows)
- Assist with audits, covenant reporting, and special projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- CPA preferred
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience in healthcare or similar environments a plus
- Strong GL and month-end close experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, communication, and time-management skills
