Experienced Field Service Technician
Catalyst Security Group Inc. is seeking a motivated Experienced Field Service Technician to join our expanding Denver, CO team. This position is ideal for a low voltage technician skilled in CCTV, access control, and intrusion system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
You'll perform hands-on work in the field, providing professional, high-quality security system services and ensuring total client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair:
- CCTV / Video Surveillance Systems
- Access Control & Intrusion / Burglary Systems
- Low Voltage Cabling (Cat5e, Cat6)
- Fiber Optic Cabling experience a plus
- Troubleshoot and test systems for optimal performance.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Complete service reports, maintain tools, and manage inventory.
- Recommend upgrades and improvements for client systems.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years' experience with low voltage security systems (required).
- Strong troubleshooting and programming ability.
- Hands-on experience with CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills.
- Proficient with mobile apps and digital tools.
- Clean driving record, background check, and drug screen required.
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in confined or elevated spaces. (Roofs, attics, ladders, lifts)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office / Teams a plus.
